When it comes to your website and success it all boils down to the people visiting your site or like its called in the marketing world Traffic.
When you’re new online you’re lead off the road by these silly softwares that offer instant “Traffic” to your site at the end of the day that’s all nonsense.
You have to practice the basics here online with your website by creating content for “people first”, put yourself in the persons shoes who is doing the search for a product or service and create the best reply/ answer to it on your site then we can worry about ranking later.
But the people searching for the answers come first, and search engines second that is the basics and what google is looking for.
Keywords & Site Structure
What are Keywords, Keywords are words and phrases that the searcher types in the search engines such as (Google) and the search engines spits out the best result/site for that search phrase or words. Some Keywords get hundreds of thousands of unique searches a day and some a few hundred.
At the same time some high Traffic Keywords are very competitive online because many businesses are trying to get Traffic/Referrals from the searchers who are looking for the answers to their query online .
An example of Keywords, lets say your site is about Organic Chocolate , and based on some Keyword research you came up with these Keywords to best target Traffic,
. Organic Chocolate
. Organic Dark Chocolate
. Health Benefits Of Chocolate
Now you would create pages and content on your website about Organic Chocolate to best target the searcher searching out the answers to the Target Keyword phrases above, very simple but at first it can be a bit tricky but once you get the hang of it , it will become second nature to your content writing methods .
Next is the layout of your site or structure make it easy for the visitors to your site make sure their just a click away to the answer to their question.
This comes from recent posts, the search box , navigation bar/ menu, linking from one piece of content to another with “anchor text links” that will go to another piece of content with even more info to that answer your giving to the specific query.
Blogging; we “human beings” communicate in two ways written and verbally”
Blogs have become a great way to build trust and authority with people which leads to them to subscribe to your site and of course they become loyal visitors or “Traffic” to your site for your products or services.
We people are lazy and to be blunt we hate to read we want the answer now and what a better way then videos on your blog posts along with the content you created, people are most likely to stay on your site longer if they see a video this will help with ranking also.
In the videos add your own flavor your personality showing people who you are and giving them that right answer to their question.
All this builds trust loyal costumers, and more subscribers and what else “Traffic” which leads to making you an authority and that person people will say let me go to so and so’s site cause he or she always leads me in the right direction.
Social media is a must, why cause people are there, millions of people, billions are there.By creating a good social presence we can share our content from our website/blog sharing value with these social media platforms where you have possibly millions seeing your content to your site.
